MORE INFORMATION ABOUT PARADISE ONE RETREAT CENTRE & ACCOMMODATION
All prices include tuition, accommodation, organic vegetarian meals, with specific dietary options if needed (inform us please), use of property, pool, linen & towels (for dormitory, room & cabins).
Our cabins have a queen-sized bed and a separate living room with a sofa bed. We also have cabins that feature a queen sized bed & bunk beds in the living room. Other options are for a private bedroom, twin share room, or bunk bedroom with a shared bathroom & toilet. All accommodation linen provided.
There is WiFi around the common areas, but no mobile phone reception on the property.
GRANTS
It may be possible to apply for grants to cover costs to attend retreats, though this would have to be done some time ahead. If you want to explore this avenue here are two links:

FOOD
Paradise One has a conscious food policy. We supply our kitchen with organic food grown on site or sourced locally. We can cater for any personal dietary needs. Please let us know at the time of booking. We have a renowned gourmet vegan chef on site to cook us 3 amazingly delicious meals a day. All meals are vegetarian with vegan options.
All day tea/coffee. We provide soy milk but if you want other milk please bring it.
Please bring your own snacks & refer to the required materials list to see what you need to bring yourself.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Flying In
Fly into Coolangatta (Gold Coast), Ballina/Byron Gateway, or Brisbane. The earlier you book the cheaper the airfare will be.
There are also various buses which drive to Byron Bay from almost anywhere such as Greyhound,
For airport transfers, byronbay.xcede.com.au will bring you to our door from the Gold Coast & Ballina/Byron Gateway Airports but must be booked in advance (& is very expensive from Brisbane Airport)
brisbane2byron.com/is a cheaper option from Brisbane Airport
byronbayshuttle.com.au runs regular shuttles to Byron Bay from all Airports,
as does gobyron.com.au/shuttle/ from where we can pick you up in our mini-van for an extra fee of $40.
Fees for an Airport shuttle bus vary.
Another door to door option is Jayride
Brisbane airport to Byron is approx. $60
Gold Coast Airport to Byron Bay is approx. $40
Ballina/Byron Gateway Airport to Byron Bay is approx. $22
Renting a car from the airport and returning it to the airport when you leave is also a good option.
WHAT TO PACK
Personal
Suggestions of what to bring:
clothing for warm-hot weather/cool at night
Swimsuit & towel for pool/creek
Sandals/walking shoes
Mosquito repellent-preferably natural
Please be aware not to wear any sunscreen, mosquito repellent,
or any other chemicals/creams if you are swimming in the creek, as this can harm the wildlife that lives there.
RESERVATIONS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:
- Since places are limited, students should reserve their place as soon as possible by registering with a $300 deposit.
- The reservation deposit is non-refundable. In case you have to cancellation please be aware of this!
- Refunds will not be given once the course has commenced.
- The deposit is subtracted from your final payment balance.
- Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to us by email. (welcome@paradiseone.com.au)
- Final payment is due by 25th January
- We will contact you regarding your preferred Accommodation Option
